RAW - salt lake city.

 Last night I had the opportunity to attend RAW. I'm sure you're thinking, "What is RAW?" You actually might already know, but I had no idea what it was until a few days ago! Haha. Well, I'll give you their answer..

What is RAW? "RAW:natural born artists is an independent arts organization, for artists, by artists. We're a community made up of creative individuals across the nation. Our mission is to provide independent artists within the first 10 years of their career with the tools, resources and exposure needed to inspire and cultivate creativity. We welcome all genres of art including independent film, fashion, music, visual art, performing art, hairstylists, makeup artists and more."

How Does RAW Work? "Our RAW Directors hand-pick and spotlight local artistic talent in film, fashion, music, visual art, hair & makeup artistry, and performance art. With artists from all genres in each showcase, RAW events come together to form an amazing one-night circus of creativity."

What can you expect when attending a RAW Showcase? "You'll experience an independent film (usually a short, webisode or music video), a fashion show from an up-and-coming local designer, a musical performance, an art gallery featuring several independent visual artists and photographers, and performance art (comedy/dance/fire dancers, you name it...). You'll get a little taste of everything. Combine all this creativity with drinks, fun, and good company."

RAW currently operates in 54 cities across the United States & Australia and counting... So you guys definitely need to hurry and check if they are coming to a city close by! I had so much fun last night. I would definitely recommend anyone going.

This was my outfit for Presidents' Day! My husband and his friends take this holiday pretty seriously.. If anyone asks me how serious they take it, I tell them it's basically their Christmas. They come up with a different theme every year, make t-shirts, and even go caroling. So I decided to show my seriousness by waving the flag in the middle of the street and taking pictures. I'm sure if anyone saw me they would have thought I was losing my mind. Haha. All in all, the holiday was spent wonderfully.

I've been sick this past week, and it's slowly just gotten worse! I now have the runny nose of all runny noses.. All my siblings and I are sick. It's making it's rounds. BEWARE.

I decided I'd do a post about what's in my closet! I just got a walk-in closet and I'm ecstatic. I've always dreamed about having a bedroom with hardwood floors and a walk-in closet.. So I wanted to share it with you, and an outfit I've been wanting to try for a while now.
