Hey guys! I've been trying to craft a lot lately for the nursery, and I decided to try and make my own mobile! It's not perfect, but I love how it ended up turning out. Check out the tutorial after the break!

diy - baby "shower".

So I threw a baby shower for my sister in-law today! It was themed as a baby "shower". It turned out so great.. I was really happy with how everything worked out! It was super fun, too. We had rain shower cupcakes, baby rattle marshmallow-peanut butter pops, and of course, raspberry sherbet lime soda! My mom also made her famous 7-layer dip along with her egg rolls. The games we played were fun. I should have taken pictures of the games, too. Buggy.. Anyway, my sister had fun, and I loved every minute. :)

I've been seeing a lot of cap-toe shoes, and just wanted to try making some myself! They look a little messy, but I think it adds to it. It probably would have turned out better if I used non-suede shoes, the gold would have been more of a metallic look. But I'm still in love with how they turned out! I'll probably try it again with some flats.. What do you guys think?

DIY Tutorial: Honestly WTF

I'm obsessed with anything to do with collars.. I found this DIY a bit ago, when I made the white one. I made the black one tonight, and I decided to try it without the hole punch. I'm kind of leaning towards liking the black one the best. Haha. But I still love them both! If you haven't seen this tutorial, you should! And try it, too. It was super easy..

Sorry the pictures aren't the best quality! These were taken with my phone. I'm still trying to find the cord for my camera.. I should find it soon though! Anyway, I'm in love with how these shorts turned out! They were just a pair of old jeans that I hardly wore, then I got the idea of scalloped shorts! I've always thought they were a super cute idea.. I just traced the bottom of a bottle that I had lying around, then cut! Hope you guys like them, too.

diy - collar tips.

Supplies you'll need: Corners: Tim Holtz, Earring Clutches & Posts: Hobby Lobby, E-6000: Michael's

Take a pair of the corners.

Take one, and fold down one of the flaps.

Take one post, and add one drop of glue.

Place the post half under the folded flap, so it is tight against the flap. And let it dry.

Once dry (try moving the post, if it's steady, it's dry) fold the other flap down and then add the clutch.

Repeat the steps for the rest of the colors, and viola! You have a 3 sets of collar tips! Easy as that.
