My husband and I did a one year anniversary photoshoot! It was so much fun. We did the shoot on a frozen lake up Ogden canyon. I kept getting a sudden feeling of anxiety thinking it'd crack and we'd fall in! It really was so, so much fun. The sun was out and it was all so great. These were a few of my favorites!

This is by far the best gift I've ever received.. My husband surprised me with this in the mail. I've been wanting this for so long. It was so thoughtful.

I've started reading it (yes, there is text - just not a lot), and I'm taking my sweet time. I want the excitement to last! I'm just so in love with Scott Schuman's photos. He has such an eye for fashion. I think this book is definitely a necessity. And, his second one is coming out this September! I'm stoked.. If you guys haven't already, you need to go and check out his blog. The Sartorialist. It's fantastic..

I'm so sorry I haven't made any posts these past few days! Unfortunately, after our first day in Cleveland, we changed to a new hotel that had no Wi-Fi. So I couldn't blog! I just got back home last night, so when I gather all of my images, I'll be making a few more posts to keep you guys updated.

sunday update - week 1.

So I decided I'm going to do a Sunday Update post every week.. Just to blog about what's been going on, and what's coming up!

• We just got home from visiting with my immediate family. We were celebrating my 2nd brother, John's, birthday. He's turning 23 on the 17th, but this is the weekend that work best for the whole family.. We celebrating with cake and some gifts. He got his favorite cake, Tres Leches. It was delicious! He got some gifts, mainly to do with Batman and Xbox. Hahah. We all definitely had a good time.

• This weekend, my husband and I celebrated our 6 month mark for being married. I know a lot of people don't usually celebrate 6 months, but we felt it was something worth celebrating! I bought him some new shoes that he's been needing, then we went out for dinner at Roll Up Crepes.. It's a super small crepe cafe-ish. It had really good pricing and was SO delicious! And I just loved the small local feel of it, instead of a busy restaurant feel. It was great, we're going to have to become frequent diners!

• I'm really, really excited for this week! I'm traveling with my parents to Ohio! Ohio seems completely random, but my parents are doing a 50 state challenge. And Ohio will be their 49th! They decided to invite me to come along because my dad wants to go to an amusement park. My mom hates rollercoasters! I definitely didn't mind! We'll be leaving on the 11th and coming back on the 15th.. It'll be a ton of fun. But, the only downfall, is my husband can't go with me. I absolutely hate leaving him to go on trips.. I don't know, I guess I end up missing him a ton! He couldn't get work off because he just started his new job.. Sadness.

Well, I guess that's most of what's going on.. What's interesting at least. Hope your weekend was great!

Hello and welcome to the first post of Imprimé Léopard! I’m going to start off by introducing myself with the 5 W’s.

Who?
My name is Kalee. I am currently attending Provo College for a degree in graphic design. I chose the title of “Imprimé Léopard” because I absolutely love the french language, and of course, leopard print.

What?
This blog was made to share my interest in design and fashion. I intend to use this blog to show my work with design, as well as my love for fashion.. Although I have never pursued anything in fashion, I have such a great interest in it. I hope to someday be compared to The Sartorialist.

When?On May 16th, 2012, imprimé léopard was born.. Making a fashion blog has always just been a simple aspiration of mine that I never took seriously. But after some encouragement from my friend, Brandon, I decided I'd try it!

Where?I currently reside in Provo, UT with my husband and chihuahua. We just recently moved to Provo in January, and I'm still getting used to it.. I just need to find exciting things to do here in Provo, I'm quite often bored and find myself spending my weekends in Salt Lake. I just have to give it time! Then I can learn to love it and call it home.. For now.

Why?Well, I guess I answered this in the What? section.. Hahah. "Although I have never pursued anything in fashion, I have such a great interest in it. I hope to someday be compared to The Sartorialist."
