Dress: c/o SheInside // Shoes: Old Navy

Is this dress not amazing?! It's absolutely beautiful. I feel so fancy in it, like I should be going to an upper-class garden party or some expensive outdoor gathering.

The quality of this dress is top notch. When I got it in the mail, one of the first things I said to myself was, "Oooh, this feels expensive." Haha. And I absolutely love the shape of this dress! The puffy sleeves, the skater skirt, the embossing, all just amazing.

I'm sure you guys all know about SheInside by now because they have such cute clothes for just really great deals. But definitely be sure to check out their site! Here.

warby parker karlie kloss collection.

June 10, 2014

I'm so excited to help announce Warby Parker's newest collection! You guys already know I'm a big fan of Warby Parker and what they do, so I'm definitely on board with this new collaboration. They've teamed up with Karlie Kloss (former Victoria's Secret model and all around fashion icon) to bring you 3 all-new sunglass frames. Below is my favorite pair, the Clara frame. Check out the whole collection here.

The aspect of the collaboration that I am most excited about is that a portion of each sale will benefit an organization dear to Karlie - Edible Schoolyard NYC. Edible Schoolyard works to create kitchens and gardens for low-income public schools, giving students the tools and knowledge necessary to develop lifelong healthy habits. Amazing, right? In addition - as with all of their existing collections - for every pair of glasses sold, Warby Parker will distribute a pair to someone in need!

“Collaborating with Warby Parker on this capsule collection was an amazing experience. I’ve always admired their commitment to social enterprise and am so excited that our partnership is supporting Edible Schoolyard NYC’s inspiring work,” Karlie says.

The new collection is available now. Be sure to check out this new collection online or in stores! If you’re lucky enough to live near one of their few storefronts around the country. (Wish I was!)

March 20th is the first day of Spring! Which means a new season for style. (Yay for warmer weather and floral print) Now bring some Spring into your home. To celebrate Kleenex’s 90th anniversary, they’re bringing you another innovative first: The Kleenex® Style Studio. It’s a fun, inspiring way to discover more of the Kleenex® Brand designs and products you love. And maybe even a few that’ll take you by surprise.. These boxes definitely added the perfect amount of color to my living room and Abigail's nursery. The travel size Kleenex® are my absolute favorite! The prints are so cute. Right?!

Whether you’re decorating at home or adding a pop of color to your clutch, Kleenex has you covered. Check out all of their designs here!

stay warm with sammy dress.

December 18, 2013

1/2/3/4/5/6/7

Hey guys! Sorry for no outfit post! I'm currently on the recovery side of being sick. I went to Urgent Care yesterday with a temperature of 104.2°, definitely no fun! I no longer have a temperature, just a sore throat and feeling pretty weak. The doctor said I should be better by Friday! Thank goodness for not being sick on Christmas! (Hopefully)

Anyway, moving on.. Have you guys checked out Sammy Dress? I was browsing through their Sweater/Cardigans and saw so many that I wanted! They have such cute products! I've seen a lot of people buying aztec print cardigans lately, and they have so many to choose from. And I'm dying over this maxi cardigan! I've been on the hunt for one, and this one is perfect.. All of their products are super inexpensive! And almost all of them ship within 24 hours, which is always nice. I've ordered quite a few times from wholesale sites exactly like this, and have never been disappointed. So if you guys are looking for cute sweaters this Winter, definitely check them out!

lovely sponsor - buttons & birdcages.

November 19, 2013

None of these photos are mine.

Hey guys! I'm going to introduce you to the beautiful Miche from Buttons & Birdcages. She's a stylish girl who does some amazing thrifted refashions. I wish I could be as talented as her!

1. What inspired you to start your blog?
Honestly, other bloggers. I used to just look at style blogs, like, all the time. I would takes bits and pieces from various bloggers style and try to come up with my own. I always thought it would be awesome to have one of my own and eventually I decided that I had no excuse not to start one.

2. How would you describe your style?
I guess I would describe it as vintage inspired and eclectic (at least thats what I'd like to think it is)

3. Where do you go for style inspiration?
Straight to my BlogLovin' feed. I skip the stores, celebrities, and magazines. I like to see what real women are wearing and how they style it.

4. What is your #1 place to shop? (Clothes, makeup, shoes, etc..)
Thrift Stores for clothes for sure, a lot of people are freaked out by thrift stores, but what I love about them is they give you an opportunity to find totally unique items that you know the person standing behind you in line at the movies won't be wearing. If I am gonna go for new stuff though I must admit Target is my go to - clothes, shoes, makeup - they have the works, and they rarely disappoint.

5. What are a few of your favorite blogs?
I have SO many! I must admit, I do love some of the big ones - The Clothes Horse and Delightfully Tacky, they were the originals I started reading. Now I've also began to love a few smaller ones as well, like Spoolish and Someone Like You

6. Any advice for fellow bloggers?
Don't feel like you have to conform to what the trends are, or what popular bloggers are wearing. Remember, your blog is just that, your blog. It's your little place on the internet to just be you - plus, you don't want to look back on it one day and feel like it wasn't a true representation of you at that time in your life.

Now be sure to go and say hello to Miche!

diamond candles + a giveaway. (CLOSED)

September 18, 2013

Image from Diamond Candles

Hello lovely readers! I have some exciting news. I was sent the Peachy Mango candle from Diamond Candles a few weeks ago. When they first contacted me, I thought to myself, "Why a ring in a candle?" Then I thought, "Why not?!" I think it's such a fun idea. When I got my candle, I let it burn for days waiting for the ring. I was so excited when I saw the gold foil wrapped ring sitting in the wax! Not only was it fun waiting for the ring, the candle smells heavenly. Their candles are made from all-natural soy, which is what I really liked. I really want their Pumpkin Chai candle, but it's been sold out! *sigh*

Here's the exciting news. Diamond Candles is going to giveaway a candle of your choice to one lucky reader! How awesome is that?

Check out their website here and enter in the Rafflecopter below! Good luck!

lovely sponsor - art of the heart.

August 12, 2013

None of these photos are mine.

I want to introduce you guys to the beautiful Amy from Art of the Heart. She's a hairstylist and makeup artist living in Mississippi. And here's a little more about her and her blog!

1. What inspired you to start your blog?
All my life, I've been obsessed with art in every form and medium.. from fashion and music, to photography and painting.  I started ART of the HEART as a platform to share this love I have for all things "art" through my style, diy projects, hair/makeup tutorials, and more!

2. How would you describe your style?
I'm a girl who has a rebel attitude with soft heart.. if that's even possible! I would describe my style as unpredictable. It's ever-changing on a daily basis.. One day I may wear a girly, vintage-inspired, lacey dress with pretty heels... and the next, you might find me in combat boots, black jeans, and a ripped up t-shirt. I'm fickle like that or a free spirit, if you will! I don't like being confined to just one style.

3. Where do you go for style inspiration?
I get most of my style inspiration from fellow bloggers or alternative models around the world. I've never been one to mimic drugstore fashion magazines. I love colors, patterns, and pieces that stand out. And I like wearing pieces that aren't "in style" in my area. I feel like people in the south tend to lean towards a more conservative style.. I'm not talking about modesty.. it just seems like they have this certain "style box" that they're afraid to step out of. I think it's way more fun to be unique!

4. What is your #1 place to shop? (Clothes, makeup, shoes, etc..)
Picking just 1 favorite place to shop is extremely difficult! I guess I'd have to say my go-to places for shopping are online at ModCloth, Nasty Gal, and TopShop.

5. What are a few of your favorite blogs?
One of my favorite blogs is obviously A Beautiful Mess (They're like the queens of the blogoshpere, right?!), I also frequent KeikoLynn.com, SkunkBoyBlog.com, TheBeautyDepartment.com, and Maskcara.com. The Beauty Department and Maskcara's blogs have awesome hair and makeup tips and tricks. Keiko Lynn is one of my favorite style icons, and ABM and Skunkboy Blog have super cute styles and the BEST diy projects!

6. Any advice for fellow bloggers?
My advice is.. There is nothing wrong with looking to other bloggers for inspiration, but be original. Expand on ideas, don't just copy them. Help promote other bloggers with similar interests as yours and always be friendly! Blogging folks make great friends!

Now be sure to go and say hello to Amy!

I just got this shirt in the mail yesterday! I've been excitedly waiting for it. I love, love it! I was sent this shirt from Skip N' Whistle.
